I am using the “Media” element with “Center” alignment and a specified width. The image looks fine if I am on a desktop or laptop. However on a small screen the image gets stretched to fit the width of the screen. See the image below:
How can I specify a maximum width for “Media” element images, regardless of screen size?

Hello,
I can’t access your site, it’s offline(screenshot). Try to add this code into your custom css box:
.row-dynamic-el .media .type_image.alignment_center { width: 50% !important; left: 73px !important; }
Edit the values to your wish. Let us know.
Best regards!

I would like all the images on the page to stay the same width as I’ve set for them in the Media element. My media elements are all “Center” and various widths. Can you provide a code snippet to do that or just disable image resizing completely?

Hello,
If you have enabled the responsive mode, the elements of your site will change when the screen dimensions change. If you don’t want them to change, then disable the responsive in General Options > Responsive Layout.
Or send us a valid link and the elements you wish not to change in mobile, so we can help you achieve it.Best regards!

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
I see your site is no longer responsive(screenshot). It probably needed some time to reflect the changes. Clearing the cache helps get the change results faster. Let us know what do you need to to change here.Best regards!

Hi Mihaila,
The site is not responsive, but when I open it in a narrow browser, it still expands images and changes to a drop-down menu (screenshot).
Can I disable width-based action altogether? Make it a fixed-width site?

Hello,
Sorry but to remove it completely requires a lot of customization in theme files, which this support does not cover. You can do it yourself or hire some one to take care of these for you.
Best regards!
