Hello,
could you help me about customizing footer menu items.
Please see this page on the site: https://oltremateria.it/oltremateria/collezioni/
As I am on this page the item “collezioni” in footer menu is highlighted bold. It’s ok.
I have more subpages under https://oltremateria.it/oltremateria/collezioni/, example:
https://oltremateria.it/oltremateria/collezioni/collezioni-decoro/ but as I navigate to this page the parent item “collezioni” will be no more highlithed bold.
Is it possible to have the parent item highlithed even if the child item/page is not inserted in footer menu?
I hope the question is clear
Regards
Marco

Ok Mihaila,
I can find another solution: I could place breadcrumb on specific pages where I need the user to understand where he is navigating. So I ask you:
1) Is it possible to add bradcrumb on several pages?
2) the website I am working wasn’t made by me, so I do not clearly know what customizations but for sure a child them of specular has been made. Anyway I do not see breadcrumbs on this site: has specular theme breadcrumb by default? Or how to insert it?
thanks
Marco

Hello,
1-You can edit the layout of page header (basic/centered/with or without breadcrumbs) in the page’s General Settings > Page Header Options (screenshot). Make sur eto have the “Active Page Header” set ON and select the option with breadcrumbs.
2-Breadcrumbs are part of page header customization. You can set it up in General Options > Header Options > Default Page Header and this will be applied to every page. or change it for individual page’s in the page’s General Settings > Page Header Options.
Let us know if you need further help.Best regards!

Hi Mihaila,
I go back to the initial question becouse I discovered that in this page:
https://oltremateria.it/realizzazioni/residenziali/
If I see the footer menu the corresponding parent menu item is highlithed bold
But this doesn’t happen in this page:
https://oltremateria.it/oltremateria/collezioni/collezioni-progetto/
maybe here the path is too long?
thanks

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
This page: is the same in menu and footer. The highlighted menu item in footer is not it’s parent but the page’s itself. Please see screenshot.
While this page does not have a direct link (item) in footer menu. It has only the parent. And therefore it’s not highlighted.
I hope i explained it correctly.
Let us know if you need further help.Best regards!
