Hello,
<div class=”comment__body”>
<div class=”comment__body”>
<div class=”js-comment__body t-preformatted”>Trying to sort out why no matter what I do the images on the middle of the homepage come out blurry. I’m referring to the taste / balance / elegance tiles in the middle of the homepage. I copied the dimensions over and tried to make the images the right size and even tried making them much larger. No matter what I seem to do they are a bit fuzzy. Any thoughts? https://royalwater.idigresults.com/

Is support only available while I have paid for it? I bought the theme but haven’t renewed support? If i must to get this solved I will as its a big issue clients not happy its taking so long to resolve something seemingly so simple.

Hello,
I see the natural image size is smaller than the required dimension for the service. Please see screenshot: https://pho.to/Ajl5G
I recommend you upload a larger image and the better the resolution the best.-Normally it is needed to renew support if you still want help. So if you know you will need our help in the near future, please renew the service.
-I understand the urgency of the request but the support work time is 9AM-5PM (UTC +1) Please consider timezone differences. We will do our best to reply asap.Best regards!

I have tried to upload larger images and select them but it seems the widget is not controlled by image reference. For example it states – [services_media title=”Crown Suliner” photo=”354″ style=”style_2″ link=”https://royalwater.idigresults.com/suliner/”%5D
In the shortcode. No matter what I upload it references a photo by ID # and that seems to be a minimized version of the one I upload. Look in media library you will see the images I’m uploading are 900px wide. Its a very odd situation… Would it work if I replaced photo=”354″ with the link to the image?

Interestingly I exchanged the “354” with “https://royalwater.idigresults.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/elegance-3.png” and bingo they come up nicely.
BUT when I go to edit something else within that page it loses the images… so not an ideal long term solution…

Hello,
Did you change theme code? I see in file vc_templates/services_media.php this line:
$bg_image_src = wp_get_attachment_image_src($photo, 'staff');
is not correct. The right line is this:
$bg_image_src = wp_get_attachment_image_src($photo, 'large');
In the original line, the services images will take the dimensions of the large thumbnails as set in Settings > Media (screenshot). This leaves the original image intact and it will not shrink in the service element.
By changing it to “staff” as you have it, it crop’s down the images (no matter the dimension it is originally uploaded) to the staff dimension specified in file function.php (screenshot). Leading to the result you already have.So go to file vc_templates/services_media.php, find and change the line above to the one specified (just change “staff” to “large”). Upload once again the images to set in services media or run a plugin that regenerates the thumbnails.
Best regards!
