Hello support,
I followed all your instructions and reviewed the video tutorials for importing the demo data. Still i don’t see the demo data importing properly. I read through the forums as well. I checked All and Checked Import all content option. Still nothing.
please help.

Thanks for your reply. When i import it does say 100% imported.
However after importing, i can’t see anything of that sort when i go to my webpage. As shown in your youtube video, i don’t see the new pages to be set in the specular global settings as well.
I have updated the WP information in my profile. I really appreciate your help.

I see that the demo data it is not imported at all. There are some reasons that can make the import process not successful. Please make sure to check on these settings:
-To have the required access on themes files.
– To check the execution time limit.
Change it on your server if not long enough to let all dummy data import. Especially when importing with attachments, the amount of data to load increases significantly;
-Check to have have enough memory limit.
You can increase it yourself by adding this line into your wp-config.php file :
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’94M’);Then try again to import the demo data you want.
Or if you can not do it by yourself, tell us what demo do you want to import and we will do it for you.

I tried adding the following in wp-config.php file and tried again.
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’94M’);
I still face the same issue. Can you please import Business 4 demon including attachment to my site? Please help.

Sorry for the late reply.
The import finishes with success (screenshot) but you have problems with your database. Perhaps you do not have enough rights to add content to it. Please contact you hosting provider regarding it.
Let us know. We can help you customize it, but for now this is all we can do.Best regards!

Customization does not have a cost. We are happy to help you with it. Did you contact your host? There is no need to switch hosts. Just ask them to check your rights on theme files and database. Let them know that you are not able to add content in database.

Thanks for responding. I did check with my hosting provider. They did check the privileges and they confirmed the Database and theme folder settings have the right access. In fact full access.
Now i am not sure how to go forward. Without importing the dummy data, i have to do from scratch and it won’t look perfect. On top of paying i have to do the work. Can you please find out the alternatives. Is there a manual copy and paste of files/folders i can do instead of that import option.
Your help is appreciated. If you can call me, we can do a webex and sort out the issue.

Hello,
Can not import dummy data: check if Your Host doesn’t accept XML files to import. The dummy data files need to be archived as gzip.
However, i set up your site just like the Specular Business 4 demo. Please check your site. You may continue now customizing it with your content.
