I need to move a site I’ve been developing using Tower to another server. The IT guys at the company is being weird and won’t give me FTP or DB access. All I have at this point is admin level access to a blank WP install.
Can I export “All” from Tower’s Import/Export tab, install the Tower theme on the new server and then Import my work? This sounds too easy :P also the warning that pops up when I tried exporting that said “Are you sure to export ?” makes me worry. I’ll forgive the typo…but just so you know that dialog box has one.
Where does the export go?
I assume I’ll have to export all my sliders separately correct?
Thanks for your time. The theme is very well built.
Regards,

Hello,
Yes, it’s right, export all the settings and content and import them to the new host. The exported files go to tower\includes\dummy_data\backups\ -> there are some folder here. Copy the latest created and paste it at your new host at the same folder.
Then go to your new theme installation -> Tower panel -> Import/Export dummy data -> select the backup and click import.
Another way to mode host is to copy the database and to replace all the links using the plugin WP Migrate DB.
Let us know if you need more help.
Best regards!
