3 questions I haven’t figured out:
- On the blog (alternate version) I’ve put the sidebar on the left. However, on the mobile version, it appears BEFORE the posts. Is there a way to force it to be 2nd on the responsive version ?
- The Page Header on the blog displays the latest blog post name. Is there a way to change it ?
Is there a way to put custom content there ? - I haven’t been able to make the custom JS work (in settings->general). I’ve tried only basic code, but it doesn’t work
Site: roulezelectrique.com
jQuery(document).ready(function(){
console.log(“ok”);
});

Hello,
1-That is because you have set up a left sidebar. The order goes left to right. You can change the sidebar position to right and it will display after the blog posts in mobile mode.
2-Please make sure you have set the page as Posts page at Settings > Readings, and at General theme Options first. Then enable Page Header in General Settings > Page Header Options.
3-Add directly the code without thejQuery(document).ready(function(){});
Like this:/*jQuery(document).ready(function(){ });*/ console.log("ok");
Best regards!

Hello,
Thanks.
- I understand. However, do you know if I could put a jquery line that would, on mobile, put the sidebar AFTER or I’m stuck with a right sidebar ?
- “your latest posts”, that’s what you mean ?
- The console.log thing was just a test. I want to add something like this and it never runs.
jQuery(document).ready(function(){
console.log(“ok”);
$(“#posts_container”).prepend(““);
});

Hello,
-You can change the sidebar positioning for mobile, with css. Or you can try with jQuery, to switch style (select right sidebar) when in mobile.
Sorry but this support does not cover such customizations. Read more about Support Policy.-Assign blog page in General Options. Example: options screenshot, blog page title screenshot.
-You are right. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will fix this in the next update. Meanwhile, please add the code directly to files header.php or page.php (if you want the output in page body).
Best regards!

you say:
Assign blog page in General Options
But how do I create a blog PAGE with the post listings ? -
Hello,
You can assign any page as your blog page (screenshot). The posts will be shown by default in that page, after setting it up as blog (screenshot). It will reflect all the configurations set up in General Options > Blog Config (screenshot).
I can help you set it up if you send us your wp credentials in a private reply.Best regards!

Yes, but suppose I create an empty page.
And then I set it up in the specular config as “blog page”
There will be no posts shown on that page, right ?
How then do I make posts listing appear on that page ? -
Hello,
If you set it as ‘blog page’ all posts will be displayed when opening that page. If that does not happen then either there are no posts available to show, or a mistake is made.
I can help you set it up if you send us your wp credentials in a private reply.Best regards!
