Hi there,
Like many others, I am having issues installing the demo data. (Business).
I have updated the upload limit, execution time etc. I have also added the line of code to my wp-config file to update the limit to 94M.
The demo data import is freezing at 65%. When I view my site after this, no demo data is imported. If I attempt to import it again for a second time, it jumps to 100% quite quickly and some of the demo data is installed. It still doesn’t look right though.
I have seen you suggest to try and import without attachments but I would like the attachments with my install. I shouldn’t have to download them from the live demo and add them myself. That’s not what I paid for.
I am developing locally so I can not provide you with login credentials.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Yes, you do have the functionality you paid for. The other option (downloading images from online demo) is for the cases where users can not increase the memory enough for the attachments to import.
As you may have already read in other topics, the attachments contain ONLY images. The images are in high resolution so it increases significantly the demo data size to import.
If you are not able to import all data altogether, then try importing one part at a time. Please go to Specular > Import / Export (Dummy Data) >
Import Options, select to import from the dropdown list. First the content, then Theme Options..etc.Note: Please know that the import issue are solely depended from the server’s configurations.
Let us know.Best regards!

Thanks for getting back to me.
When I try to import them one at a time, I started with content as instructed. Now it stops at 95%.
What can I do do to fix this?
-
So I increased the memory limit EVEN MORE, and installed one by one. They all managed to import successfully.
The problem now is the demo content does not look like the actual demo.

I’m sure there are other things missing too.
I’m aware that pages etc. are there in the backend for me to add, but I really just want to start with the exact live demo that you have on Theme Forest.

Hello,
I am sure nothing else is missing. The demo import is a process tested multiple times(from us and Envato team) before theme lunch.
I see you are missing the slider. That does not come with the data import. Did you install all included plugins?
Please install Revolution slider first. Then go to Revolution slider > Import slider. Import the slider of your demo from “sliders_dummy_data” folder inside the main theme zip file you downloaded from Envato. See screenshot. Please read theme documentation and watch our video tutorials for more help on setting up the theme. Let us know what difficulties are you having so we can guide you. Send us a list of the thing you are not able to set up.
Best regards!

I have a possible solution.
If I set up WP on my server, and give you the credentials, could you do the import for me? Then I can take it back down and work on it locally.
Would this be possible? :)

Hello,
First, please know that “adding social icons to the top right widget area but not having them circular like in the demo” is not an issue. It’s just personal preference on socials style.
I am happy to help you set up the site like the demo but i’m not able to pass the pop up with these credentials (wp credentials). Can you please check it?
Screenshot.Let us know.
Best regards!

Hello,
No we do not need the ftp credentials. I need username/password for the pop up form. It’s not possible access the admin panel with the current wp credentials you send us.
Let us know.
Best regards!

Hi Mihaila,
Can let me know what URL you are going to, to get this pop up window?
The only credentials I have every had to use are the ones I have provided you with.
Regards,
Eimear

Hello,
I am using the credentials provided in your profile data. Please see screenshot of it: https://pho.to/AQmEG
Best regards!

Hmm, I get the normal WP login screen when I follow that link.
If you haven’t already, would you mind trying the FTP username and password in the popup? I know it doesn’t really make sense to do so, but that looks like the popup where I usually enter the FTP details for other reasons, so maybe it’s some kind of security feature. Maybe then it will redirect you to the WP login page.
The FTP details are also on my profile.
Thanks again,
Eimear

Hi again,
I got on to my hosting provider. They have added an extra layer of security for WordPress logins.
If the IP is outside of Ireland that popup will appear.
The username is: safe
The password is: hosting
So sorry for causing you extra trouble. Thanks again for helping me.

Hello,
I have imported and updated theme as the demo business. Please continue with further customization.
You can download images from the online demo if you must have them all. Or just import your own images.
Let us know if you need further help.Best regards!

Hi Mihaila,
Thank you so much for that. I am very grateful.
I went through the pages and there just a few things I can’t figure out. If you could explain them to me I would be very grateful and will mark this topic as resolved.
1. How do I add the breadcrumbs like in the theme? I have tried to add them but I must be missing something.
2. On the “About Me” page, how do I add the header image added like in the theme? I tried to replicate it but I couldn’t figure it out. There is no blank area inside Visual Composer for me to just add my own image.
3. On the “Contact Us” page, the left-hand column appears to be muddled up a little bit. I tried to fix it inside Visual Composer but it didn’t work. I would really appreciate it if you could fix that for me.
4. On the “FAQ” page, I notice that there are some widgets in the theme that are not in mine. They are called “24/7 Support” and “Account Details”. I think I have made the first step in replicating them. I have created a custom sidebar for the FAQ page and have added it to the page. Then I went to widgets and added two “Tower Widget Shortcodes” to the sidebar. I think this is correct but it is likely that I just don’t know what shortcode/text to put in there. It would be great if you could advise me on this.
Thank you very much.

Hello,
1-Just go to your page’s General Settings > Page Header Options > Breadcrumbs Style, select the normal Small Breadcrumbs in the right. Make sure to have first activated page header. See an example set in this page of yours: https://www.zenwaterfilters.ie/newsite/about-us/
2-This is not a Visual Composer element. It another style of page header. I am setting it up like the demo, so please go to the page’s General Settings > Page Header Options and check out the set up.
The Active Page Header can be set up in two locations. In General Options > Header Options > Default Page Header, this is like a general set up for the entire site. And in every page’s General Setting. The second one overwrites the first one if “Overwrite the default page options” option is set ON. So you have the possibility to create unique pages.3-To fix this, i added this code into your custom css box (located in General Options):
.wpb_content_element.list.only_icon { width: 100%; }
Also i installed the “Contact Form 7” plugin, required for the contact form to display properly. You can always disable/delete it in your Appearance > Plugins.
4- In your Appearance > Widgets please scroll down to “Inactive widgets“. These are all pre-created widgets used in the demo. Just drag-and-drop the ones you want to use. I already added the widget you mentioned.
Please check your site. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions.
Best regards!
