Hi, my website’s featured images are gone after every 3 or 4 days regularly. If I am going to check my media library all images are changes to grey file type image. I disabled all plugins except revolution slider and VC. Before, I used yoast plugin for SEO, whenever all featured images gone it will affect my yoast seo details also. But past 2 weeks I disabled that plugin also. Please help me out, Thank you!

Hi,
Still now I am not getting any response….Anyone there??

Hello,
The images are stored in the database(server). Once you import them, you can add them or not in your site by using theme options. This is not controlled or depended from theme.
Please contact your host and make sure you are not being hacked or have any virus in your site.
Let us know.Best regards!

I think you misunderstood the problem. Below I am going to give some links for your better understanding.
Below location where one featured image is stored (File is still there)
https://mediasysdubai.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Apexx-4_01.jpg
when your going to edit the post and trying to change featured image (in the media library it’s automatically changed gray color default image like this below).
Even if you select that gray color image and set featured image. It will not come as a featured image. Nothing will happen.
Moreover, if you reupload that same image from local and set as featured image. It will come.
But whenever featured images are disappeared inside post all images, videos are not disappeared. Problem with only featured images.
All my uploaded files are still in same location and media library also showing the file name. Which means there is no problem with database or hosting. So please address it ASAP. If you want more details I can provide.

Hello,
There may be some reasons for this to happen.
1-It could be due to a conflict with something. Do you perhaps have Wordfence Security plugin or Jetpack plugin enabled? Please deactivate all plugins first.2-It may be caused by access rights in your server. Check if you have enabled it to “allow direct access” in the Hotlink Protection element in cPanel.
3-Check out this useful link.Let us know.
Best regards!
