How do I add a full page image background please? I’ve tried my best from the settings but cannot get my chosen image to display. In ‘Styling Options’ I’ve uploaded an image and selected transparent colour background but still cannot see my image in the live website view. What could I be doing wrong please?
The same applies to the header; there is an option in ‘Header Options’ to choose an image background but no way to actually upload an image! The only option available is to change the colour. How do I add an image instead to the header?

Hello,
You can add a image background to the entire page in page’s General Settings > Page Options & Style > Page Content Background, set it transparent. Now go to General Options > Styling Options > Background, upload an image background for your site’s body here.
To add an image to header, please go to the page’s General Settings > Page Header Options and set ON the “Overwrite the default page options” and “Active Page Header” options. Then scroll down to “Page header background” to import an image and set it up (positioning it).
Let us know.
Best regards!

When I said ‘Header’ I was referring to the section at the very top of the page where the logo is located. How do I add an image background at this location please?

Hello,
That is the menu bar. You can add an image as background by adding this custom css:
.header_6_wrapper { background-image: url(https://djmoysesurfacing.co.uk/devsite/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/patiowhite.jpg); }
Replace the image link to the image you want to use. If you will want to make the menu background transparent, go to Specular > Header Options > Header 6 Navigation BG Color. Change the color here.
Best regards!

I added a full page image background to my home page as a test and now there are large content areas that I would like to remain white but are transparent. I have tried removing the transparent option in a number of Specular settings but it has not removed the transparency. I wanted the full page image to go behind the main page which should remain as it is with a white background. How do I make this change please?

Hello,
1-Page header: To remove the transparency from page header (where the page’s title is) in page’s General Settings > Page Header Options > Page header background, i set a white color as background (screenshot).
2-Header/Menu: To remove the transparency here, i added this code into your custom css box:
.header_wrapper.transparent.header_12 { background-color: white !important; } .header_12 .full_nav_menu { background-color: white !important; }
Please check your site.
Best regards!

A big thank you! That’s looking really nice now.. On the home page the space between the page title and the start of the text is quite large. Is it possible to adjust this to make it smaller as it does not quite look right? If you would like me to start another separate question / thread please let me know.

Hello,
The page has a padding-top of 60px that is causing the distance. You can set it up in General Options > Layout > Inner Page Content Padding. I already decreased the padding top to 25px from 85px (removed the 60px difference).
Please refresh page.-Yes, please it would be better to start new topic for future questions as this one is already too loaded.
