Hi, I have now updated to the latest version of Specular theme, and now my latersliders on various pages are showing the same image from one slider, even though other sliders aer selected on these pages. Can you please advise?
*I just purchased support but my post is still stating expired*

Hello,
Please deactivate all third party plugins first. Clear cache and refresh page. Let us know if the situation persists.

I have tested deactivating all 3rd party plugins and clearing the cache, the problem persists.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply!
Did you update the Layersldier yourself? The latest included version of the plugin is 6.8.4. Please remove the Layerslider you have now. And install the included version. We have not yet tested the latest version.Let us know i the situation persists.

Hi Mirela,
Thank you for your response. If I delete the plugin through the WP interface, will I lose all my slider photos and data? And upon deletion, should I upload the .zip file of layerslider from the codeless website? Or will I be prompted to download the plugin in the wp interface?
Thank you for you help!

Hello,
Yes, deleting the plugin will make you lose the current sliders. But you can just extract them first. Then proceed with the delete.
Yes, you will be prompted to install the plugin from the wp interface. Just like when you first installed theme and it required for the necessary plugins to be installed.Let us know if you have any questions.
Best regards! -
Hi Mirela,
Is it possible to have you complete this task for me? I’m not sure how to extract the sliders before deleting the plugin and am worried I will delete my content. Can you assist here?
Thank you,
Matt -
Yes,
Check this please:
To export a slider, go to LayerSlider WP > Sliders from the WordPress dashboard. Select the slider, or sliders, you wish to export, choose Export from the dropdown list directly under the sliders and then click Apply. You will receive a zip file, with the sliders organised inside it, including the content and a .json file.
Export Layer Sliders
How To Import LayerSlider Sliders
To import sliders, click on the ‘Import Sliders’ button at the top of the page. From the popup window, choose a zip file you previously exported, and now wish to import, and click the ‘Import Sliders’ button.IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to import from outdated versions (pre-v3.0.0), you need to create a new file and paste the export code into it. The file needs to have a .json extension, then you will be able to upload it.
Import Layer SlidersYou need to export them and save in your PC, then you can import anytime
Thank You
