Hi,
I have created a post grid and would like to only show posts from one category. I have typed my category name into the “Narrow Data Source” field but it does not save and appears blank the next time I open it. Posts from all categories are showing in my grid.Could you please advise on how to fix this problem?

Hello,
If you are experiencing difficulties saving changes in your wordpress site, then you have to check your wp installation and database. This is mostly a server issue.
Please check with your host provider that you have all necessary rights to make changes to theme files / database and enough memory available. Also performing a database repair operation can help.
If the issue persists, disable all third party plugins, clear cache and cookies and try again.Let us know.
Best regards!

Hi Mihaila,
Saving generally isn’t a problem. It is just the Visual Composer “Narrow Data Source” field that doesn’t seem to work. I need to have the post grid display just one category, but it displays all my blog posts. You can see this on https://duendebymadamzozo.com/the-arts/ where it is only supposed to show posts from “The Arts” but is showing everything.

Hello,
I understand, Post Grid is a Visual Composer element not overwritten by theme options. It’s code is located into the plugin’s files. This is a VC issue and we can not do much about it as this is a plugin created by other authors.
We will contact the plugins authors and check this out. For the time being please use an alternative element such as Latest from Blog or Recent News.Best regards!

Apologies Mihaila, I am having problems with the plugin on a site not using a Codeless Theme.
thanks,
Zoe
