Hello!
I have a problem with custom fields in portfolio.
When I write them, everything ok, I don’t write any word in the places I don’t want to appear. But if I save it and I change something, it automatically erases the customs fields without any word and it changes everything in the result. What should I do? It is really inconvenient.
thanks

Hello,
By default if you leave a field empty, it will be removed from the list of custom fields displayed in portfolio item. But it does not replace it with the text in the field after it.
What theme version do you have? Can you send us a link? So we can give it a closer look.Best regards!

Hello! I still have this problem…The version of the theme is 1.8
I have to exit the portfolio item with the last changes in the categories, but if I go into a portfloio item again to change anything, after that all the categories empty are removed and the names changes their places.
There is any way to fix it?
thank you

Hello,
Please add as many custom fields as you have and fill out only the ones you have information. Leave the rest blank. but do not “eborrar” field. In this case you won’t have this problem.
I just did a test in your site. I created this test portfolio item. It has now only the first and last custom field and the info is dispalying correctly.Best regards!

Hello Mihaila,
I just get in this test you made, I added some text in the general text, and ‘actualizar’ and the result is the names are changed. Any time I go in in a portfolio to change anything, the names changes their places.
Best regards,

Hello,
As i previously said, you have to create all fields first. Then add/edit the content of each. If a field does not have info then leave blank (screenshot). Save changes. You will have all info in the right field.
Best regards!

Hello Mihaila. I know this is the way it works. I don’t know if you understand what I’m saying.
By the way, I’ve changed the structure so I don’t have to leave anything blank, so I’m not having this problem anymore.
But the inconvenience is still there.
(if you change anything, text, images, anything, the correct fields are missing.)
I think this is a mistake of the template, or I have some problem in my configuration maybe. I don’t know.
Thanks for your attention.
Best regards.
