I am trying to upload any zip slider from the archives I downloaded from Themerofest after purchasing Tower theme.
The message shows up:
<span style=”color: #ffffff; font-family: ‘Open Sans’; font-size: 14px; background-color: #e74c3c;”>Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias </span><strong style=”color: #ffffff; font-family: ‘Open Sans’; font-size: 14px;”>agency<span style=”color: #ffffff; font-family: ‘Open Sans’; font-size: 14px; background-color: #e74c3c;”> not found.</span><br style=”color: #ffffff; font-family: ‘Open Sans’; font-size: 14px;” /><span style=”color: #ffffff; font-family: ‘Open Sans’; font-size: 14px; background-color: #e74c3c;”>Maybe you mean: ‘business_simple'</span>
although there is no business_simple.zip archive in the downloaded sliders file.
Please help to edit the slider on the main page in the simplest way.

Hello,
This is the slider added in the demo data. But being Revolution slider a third party plugin which you need to install independently from the theme, this “home-slider” also needs to be installed first.
You can create a new slider and select it in the page’s options > Slider Options. Or import existing ones from Revolution Slider > Import Slider. Find the demo slider’s zip files in the “sliders-dummy-data” folder. This folder is inside the main theme zip file, that you first downloaded from Envato.

Best regards!

Hello,
Thank you. Unfortunately I cannot find the “sliders-dummy-data” folder in the downloaded main file on my mac.
I go to themeforest-qkpsSAgQ-tower-businessdriven-multipurpose-wp-theme and there I find the folders below only:
- documentation
- Licensing
- sliders
- tower
- tower child
Using search files option with the word “dummy”, only “dummy_data” folder appears, not “sliders-dummy-data” folder and of course it doesn’it include demo slider’s zip files.
Could I find the “sliders-dummy-data” folder without using FTP such as FileZilla? I have never used any FTP software before so it might be difficult for me.

Hello,
It’s the ‘sliders’ folder. Check it and let me know.
Best regards!

Hello,
In the “sliders” folder there are .zip files such as:
- agency_business.zip
- businesss_about_page.zip
- etc.
While trying to use one of them the error appears that I mentioned in the topic, for example:
“Error: Slider with alias agency_business not found”- This reply was modified 4 years, 4 months ago by Marek1983.

Hello,
You need to import these zip files in Revolution slider > Import option. Then back in the page’s options, go to Page slider > Select Slider. Select the slider you want to use.
