I installed Specular on my site, but when I tried to import one of the demos the thumbnails never load, it just keep saying “Loading”. Also, the Import button is not responsive and whenever I click on “Save Changes” it displays an error.
Please help

I managed to install the demo by revisiting the setup wizard, however the short codes don’t seem to appear on the pages

Sorry for the late reply.
I checked and the shortcodes seem to be ok. Are you referring to the shortcode text inside the ‘text’ elements?
If yes, please remove the shortcodes from the text element. This element is designed for text only. It will not recognize the shortcodes. And add ‘Media’ element to add images instead.Let us know if this is what you needed.

Not sure I understood; well, I may have meant elements, not shortcuts (I thought they’re the same).
Take this page for example: https://mahgoubsons.com/wp/home-2/ , on the top row it has the service icons, not in a text but using the element “Service Circle Icon”, but it’s still not showing on the page.

Hello,
The latest version of Visual Composer plugin, included in theme is version 5.4.5. To have it, just delete the current version’s files and install plugin again following the instructions in dashboard screen.
Or if you want to keep both versions, go to wp-content/plugins folder using a ftp account and rename the js_composer. THen install from dashboard instructions as previous suggested.
In this case you will have both versions installed. Just make sure to have activated only the 5.4.5 version.

Are you trying to import theme files from Appearances > Themes? Please make sure to be importing only theme files and not the entire zip file you downloaded from Envato first. Then make sure to have enough memory limit and increase the file upload limit size.
