Hi there,
as I can read it’s possible to translate the Specular Theme with .po files.
But the problem here is, where do I got the “template” file to getting started with translation?Another question is, are there any german files available right now?
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Please find the .PO/.MO files located in your theme specular > lang folder. Open the .PO file via PoEditor. You will find all theme strings there. Add the equivalent translation and save file.
Watch this tutorial for more detailed information.
Let us know.Best regards!

Which one should I edit?
default or en?Another question is, should I store new files?
I’ve tested with de.*; de-DE.*; en.*; default.** = po & mo
No one affected the translation.

Hello,
You can use whichever you want. But make sure to select that file in the “define(‘WP_LANG’, ‘de-DE’);” line in wp-config.php file as suggested in video tutorial.

I don’t know what excepting you mean, I have following files in the lang folder:
de-DE.* & default.* & en.* = po/mo
Also I have set the WP_LANG in the wp-config.php file.
But therefore I’ve got no translation of the wanted paragraphs. And the “You are here:” phrase I can’t find in any file.
Should I translate all sentences to get the translation to work?

Hello,
You can add more string into it, in case they are not already present. The “You are here:” phrase is located in file \includes\view\page_header.php.
Please fill in the necessary information on your extra information fields of your profile data. We can give it a closer look and help you.

Profile is updated, please have a look!
The de files should have the necessery translations in.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
The string “You are here” was not present in the de-DE.po file. I added it and regenerated the file. However, for some reason it did not reflect the changes. Currently i have translateted the string directly from the includes/view/page_header.php file. Please check your site.I am forwarding your ticket to one of our developers for more professional advice. We will get back to you soon.
Best regards!

<h4 class=”single_title” style=”line-height: 50px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; color: #444444; font-size: 16px; width: 820px; text-transform: uppercase;”>0 COMMENTS</h4>

</div> -
Hello,
Please find the “Comments” and “Leave Reply” string in files:
\includes\view\blog\comments.php
\includes\view\blog\loop-index.phpYou can always add these strings in your .PO file using the PoEditor. Just go to file \includes\view\blog\comments.php and find this line:
<h4 class="single_title"><?php echo esc_html($count) ?> Comments</h4>
replace with:
<h4 class="single_title"><?php echo esc_html($count) ?> <?php _e("Comments", "codeless"); ?></h4>
And this line:
<?php comment_form(array('title_reply' => '<span>' ._('Leave Reply'). '</span> '), $post->ID ) ?>
Replace with this:
<?php comment_form(array('title_reply' => '<span>' ._e("Leave Reply", "codeless"). '</span> '), $post->ID ) ?>
Then go to the de_DE.po file and add the two strings with their respective translations there. Update file.Best regards!
