Hi, I’ve purchased the tower theme and am having trouble importing the dummy data. I see others posting and direction given to them to check their upload speed settings and wp-memory. We are housing the site on our own internal servers. I have bumped up the php memory limit to 516 and have increased the max execution time.
I have tried importing pieces of the demo, the entire demo and the entire demo with attachments. Twice the progress bar has went past 100%. One time it went to 195%,but it has never shows the message about being successfully installed. I can tell something has happened because my headers now look like the demo I was trying to get.
The site is on a testing server that cannot be accessed outside of our network, otherwise I would send you a username/password for you to look at.
Can you give me any advise of what I can do to get the demo data differently? is there an ftp option?
thanks.

Hello,
Theme has a bunch of available demos for you to import and use, but you can only import one demo at a time. In each import action all previous data and settings will be overwritten, so you must proceed with caution.
Please send us your site link as well, for the wordpress.Best regards!

Hello,
Unfortunately i can’t access the site. Please check with your Host if it doesn’t accept XML files to import. The dummy data files need to be archived as gzip.
Let us know.Best regards!

Yes, I assumed you would not be able to access the site as I originally noted it was housed on a testing server.
You should, however, be able to log into the wp-admin side with the credentials I supplied.
I am the host, the server is here at my company. I can put files anywhere in the root directory. I don’t have any problem doing that. If you can tell me how to get the dummy data files so I can load them myself on our server it would be a big help.
At the moment the theme we paid for is completely useless. I was counting on the page templates to have a quick start to this site.
From reading through the forum it appears many people have issues downloading the dummy data files. Have you considered offering the files in a different way for people to upload? If not, you should consider a disclaimer on your sales page saying you might not be able to access the information people think they are buying.
appreciate any help you can give me in manually placing the dummy files on the server, or in a zip format, etc.

Hello,
Dummy data has no issues. Most of the customers asking about it in this forum have server configuration issues. We have tested it multiple times and Envato staff has too.
However you can find all available demos in \includes\dummy_data\demos. Import the one you want from the list.Best regards!
