Hi, I made the mistake of installing super cache as it did not perform as expected and also created errors after installation. There is a problem where I assign a slider on the front page but after clicking update it reverts back to the original. Another example is when I try to add a header image, after uploading and updating it reverts back to when it has no image.
I can still create posts but not sure if the updating scenario applies to those. So far it has been frustrating as I do not know which files to configure to fix this problem. I have followed debugging instructions and cleared the super cache lines in .htaccess and wp_config as well as deleting all the plugin files. I have also tried turning all the plugins off and it still occurs meaning its not a conflict with another plugin. Please provide assistance.

Hello,
This is more likely to be a server issue.
You could have some corrupted files or some table in the database needs optimization. Possible solution are:
-Download a fresh copy of wordpress files and replace them (look up tutorials to make it the proper way).
-Redux framework requires PHP version > 5.5. Make sure you have the right PHP Version installed on your server. Ask your host providers about it.
– Go to your wordpress installation and make a database repair operation. Find all (and more) information here.
-Try to update theme files as well. The plugin may have affected them. If you can not update from dashboard, just replace current files with a newly downloaded theme files.
Note: Always make sure to have a backup of everything!
Let us know.Best regards!
