Hello – I have several questions I haven’t been able to find answers to in the forum or knowledge base. It seems in this forum that it’s acceptable to list them all in one post rather than separating them out – please let me know if you’d rather I do the latter. I am using the Tower/Fullscreen theme, and my navigation bar is logo in the center with the left and right menus on either side. My questions are mostly related to the menus/navigation bar:
COMPUTER:
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>1. Can I make the (woocommerce) shopping cart and search sticky when scrolling? I found the CSS code to make the logo stick, but have not found anything for these.</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>2. Is there any way to add graphic differentiation between the menu buttons (such as underline, | between, etc.)?</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>3. The window page tab currently shows the page name with a vertical line | and then a blank space after it (ie “Photo Album | ”) . I’m not sure why this is there – is there a way to remove the vertical line and simply have the page name centered?</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>4. Is there a way to change the ”cart is empty” font to a different color? It is too close to the dropdown color right now to read it.</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>5. Is there a way to change the “remove item” x in “cart” to another color?</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>MOBILE</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>6. Is there a way to make the left menu/navigation of the website the left sidebar on mobile , and right menu on website the right sidebar on mobile? Right now, both the left and right menus are showing up on the left menu. I know how to add menu items to the Right Sidebar and add that to mobile, but I’m not sure how to remove those items from the left sidebar (and I don’t want them in both places.)</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>7. Is there a way to keep the shopping cart/search bar in the nav bar on mobile (right now it shifts down and appears over the top of the image.</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0in;”>Thank you!</p>

I apologize for the weird formatting above – here are my questions again, with the formatting removed. I can’t figure out how to delete/edit the original post:

Hello,
1-The Shopping cart it is sticky when the header is set so. See the demo. Can i see a link of your site?
2-You can do this with some css. Add it in your custom css box.
3-The page title displays the page title followed by the site name. Did you set up the name for your site? If you did and it still isn’t displaying, send us your site url so we can give it a closer look.
4-Add this code into your custom css box:
.header_tools .cart .content .empty {color: #ffffff;}
edit the color to your wish.5-Add this code:
.header_tools .cart .cart_item .remove:after { color: #777;}
6-Can you please be more clear? I don’t understand.
7-By default the shopping cart and search do not show in mobile. Can i see a link where you have this?
Best regards!

Mihaila –
I messaged you privately with login info for my site, and other responses to your questions.
The code for question #4 worked perfectly. However, the code for #5 doesn’t seem to be working. Any other ideas?

Hello,
1-The header style you have chosen does, by default does not display these tools in sticky mode. You are right. I added this code into your custom css box:
.header_11.sticky_header .header_tools { display: block !important; padding-top: 30px !important; }
To make them show. Please check your site.
2-You can learn more regarding css and how to use it from this site. Or hire a developer to help you with further customizations.
3-Please update theme. This is solved in the later versions.
5-Do you mean this “remove item”->screenshot?
I edited the first code i gave you, to this:.header_tools .cart .cart_item .remove:after { color: #777 !important;}
Change the color to your wish.6-Sorry but this is a customization not included in theme support.
7-The mobile navigation has a certain style which does not include the cart and search tool. If you want, you can add it by using css.
The current Woocommerce files are perfectly compatible with the theme. What issue are you experiencing?
I added this code into your custom css box, to fix their view in mobile:@media (max-width: 480px){ .header_tools { float: left;} }
Please check your site.
Best regards!

Mihaila –
I responded earlier, but it looks like it didn’t post. Thank you for your help – after your changes, question 1 has been resolved. The recent theme update also took care of question 3.
5. Sorry, no – I mean the red “x” to the left of the products in the cart page itself (not the mini cart.) I can send a screenshot.
6. So just to confirm I understand: There is no way (without custom CSS) to change what pages show up in the left navigation menu (three lines to the left of the logo) on mobile? If I have it activated for mobile, the only option is for it to list every page in every menu? I can easily add whatever pages I want to the right navigation menu – I just would like to change what pages show in the left, so they don’t repeat on two menus.
7. Thank you – the cart/search is showing up on mobile now. However, they are not in the header – they appear below the header to the left of the screen, on top of the image. I can send you a screenshot.
Thanks!

Hello,
5-So i suppose you mean this one: screenshot. For it, add this code into your custom css box:
.woocommerce #content table.cart a.remove, .woocommerce table.cart a.remove, .woocommerce-page #content table.cart a.remove, .woocommerce-page table.cart a.remove { color: #80296A !important; } .woocommerce #content table.cart a.remove:hover, .woocommerce table.cart a.remove:hover, .woocommerce-page #content table.cart a.remove:hover, .woocommerce-page table.cart a.remove:hover { background-color: #80296A !important; color: #fff !important; }
I already added them into your site. Change the colors to your need.
6-No, for this it is needed to make changes in the theme files (header.php) and edit the css as well.
7-I edited the css for the header tools and logo in mobile. Result.
Best regards!

That is fantastic – thank you! Everything has been resolved, except 6 – I will just have to figure out a workaround (thank you for your help.) Only one more question:
5) I don’t see the code you refer to (above) in my Custom CSS sheet. Where do I find the code, so I can change the color (if necessary – the color you chose is actually the color I wanted, so thank you!)
-
Mihaila –
Never mind, I just found it. I didn’t realize you could add CSS code under the Tower-General Options area (I was adding it in Appearance-Edit CSS.) There’s no need to respond. Thanks!

Mihaila – I’m so sorry, but it appears that the shopping cart/search have disappeared from mobile completely? (7, above.)
I haven’t touched the site in the last week, so I’m unsure what happened. Is there somewhere I can look in the CSS or functions.php to see if the code was changed/broken somehow? Or did you make the changes elsewhere?
-
Hello,
No we did not accessed your site again. I can see the search and shopping cart in mobile(screenshot). Did you manage to fix it?
Let us know.Best regards!
-
Mahaila – That is so strange. It is not showing on my phone (Android.) It does show when I flip the phone to landscape view. It was showing when you originally did it – but perhaps the issue is with my phone, not the code. Let me try accessing the site on other phones and I will get back to you if I still need help.
Thanks!
